Employers praise STEM Ambassadors

An article in the Financial Times reveals that the STEM Ambassadors programme develops staff in a way that would otherwise be impossible for companies.

AstraZeneca, a drug company which provides over 150 Ambassadors, states 'Our staff can develop their skills and expertise in a way that is not possible within (our) industry.'

Mike Evans, an engineering director for RWE Npower, agrees:

'It can be daunting, standing up in front of a class of 14- and 15-year-olds for the first time. The experience buids the ambassadors' confidence and adds to their presentaiton and communication skills.'
