Will you accept The Big Science Challenge?
Friday 13 January, 2012
If you think your school can design an innovative solution to a local, national or global issue concerning water, enter The British Council’s Big Science Challenge to win a once-in-a-lifetime international trip for you and your students!
In association with Rolls-Royce, The Big Science Challenge calls for teams of up to 5 students, aged 11-16 to identify, research, and then design, a low cost, innovative and creative solution to a real water shortage problem in their local area, nationally or in one of the participating countries.
This exciting competition invites students from nine different countries to get involved, encouraging schools in the UK and Middle East to share ideas and exchange information with each other as much as possible. Practicing scientist work with international networks and organisers want students to do the same!
For more information about The Big Science Challenge, visit the website. Closing date: 3rd February 2012
